Volunteer
Playhouse 44 is still evolving. Our heart is in theater, and we are working hard to one day establish a place of our own where we can put on as many plays as we’d like, whenever we like. But while we work toward that goal we have found that producing other kinds of entertainment is of equal value to the community, and provides an increasing number of opportunities for performers and other volunteers.

Audition
From time to time we have auditions for plays or revues, and we also put out calls for storytellers, singers, and instrumentalists for other kinds of cultural events. In addition, we are always interested in volunteers to help with publicity, fundraising, backstage work, publicity, production management and planning, and more. The best way to find out about auditions is be on our eblast list (and also to check social media on a regular basis). If you’re not on the list, please send us a note and we’ll put you on right away!
